Do I need the Print Preview Library?

Most user-friendly computer applications allow the user to preview pages before printing them. Since the core Java libraries do not provide a print preview component, developers are faced with implementing their own. The Print Preview Library provides a Swing component and several standard toolbars, making it simple to add print preview to an application.

Can I preview a Swing component, like a table or panel?

Yes. The ComponentPageable class makes it easy to break any Swing component into pages for previewing and printing. The class also includes methods to scale the component to fit the page.
